7 Inch Heels - Extreme Balance Necessary

In Jinan, China mall visitors are free to gawk at this eye popping 20 centimeters (approx. 7.87 Inches) high heel shoes. Along with this high heel, the sole by itself is 10 centimeters tall. Although far from practical, this is one pretty, and extreme case of high heel fashion.

Swimming Heels In High Tide

For the last year, most people who pay attention to and have websites about, shoes and fashion have wondered the same thing. Who thought it was a good idea to make flipper, scuba diving, high heels to go swimming?

That's a question we still cannot answer because besides this picture, taken by a passerby, there is virtually no information on these high heels or the person(s) who made them. As of now, we only know that the shoes are called High Tide, again because of the picture.

However, it seems that these were created for a fashion show and are possibly just art pieces. Lets hope and pray that they are.

Red PVC High Heel Boots - Would You Wear Them?

I have to say that I don't own a single pair of pvc boots and I can't imagine that most women do. They don't look bad and in fact these pictures show that they can be very sexy.

Carlos by Carlos Santana Women's Devotion High Heel Pump

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

You know Carlos Santana for his soulful guitar licks and his distinctive Latin-tinged rock sound. Now, get acquainted with the shoes. Multiple Grammy winner and Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer Santana has teamed with the Brown Shoe Company to create these fabulous shoes, which reflect the same creative passion and energy that abound in Santana's music.

A portion of the proceeds from sales of these shoes goes to support the Milagro Foundation, an organization founded by Carlos and Deborah Santana to help underprivileged children around the world. The Milagro Foundation serves children in the areas of health, education and the arts, promoting the message that every child is a miracle (milagro), and deserves a safe, healthy, culturally-enriched life.

What High Heels Trends Will Hit 2006?

So what do you think will be the trends of 2006? Yes I know the year has just started but we can guess can't we? I predict that celebrities will lose another 20lbs because tipping the scale ast 80lbs is just not skinny enough. I predict that Paris Hilton will SAY or DO something dumber than last year (yes it still is possible) and I predict that other celebs will get away with things that we poor mortals would be locked away for.

But enough about them, onto the shoes. I predict that in 2006 the high heel styles will be even more in the over the top and too much is never enough, goes against everything I hold dear category. Some of these shoes are known as "Embellished". Indeed. Here are some examples, and I know that not everyone will agree with me but hey it's my opinion.

Steve Madden design. If I wanted a chandelier I would put one in my living room not on my shoes.

Christian Lacroix design. Also known as my cats pretty new toys.

Lesilla design. What can I say about these shoes that the picture isn't already screaming at you?

BCBG Max Azria. Now I know this sounds strange but go with me on this. I have a sweet looking curtain in my living that I could pull down wrap around me and voila a matching outfit.

Bring on the gaudiness.
